OVFC Covid Restrictions Update - 1/12/2020

01 December 2020
Dear members.  As you're most likely aware, today (December 1st, 2020), the SA Government eased a number of restrictions relating to Covid-19.  I won't go into detail on everything, but suffice to say, the current social distancing, quarantine, self isolation, and hygiene requirements, still apply. However, of particular importance to us, is the new QR Code system for contact tracing, and how it applies to our footy club.  As of today, everybody who enters any part of the club's facilities for any reason, must scan the QR code using the mySA GOV app, or sign in on the hardcopy register that will be adjacent to each entry.  These areas include, but are not limited to, the clubrooms, changerooms, BBQ shed, etc. Basically, any area that is owned or operated by the football club.

Please also be aware of the restrictions on the number of people that can be in certain areas at any one time.
They are;
Dining Area - 51 people
Members Area (office & store room) - 8 people
Main Verandah - 47 people
BBQ Verandah - 16 People
Onkas Changerooms - 26 people
Visitor's Changerooms - 15 People
Oval, grassed reserve, & carpark - 1000 people

I must stress that this QR Code contact tracing system requirement is mandatory until further notice.  You can download the mySA GOV app at https://my.sa.gov.au/ , or by visiting the App Store for iPhone, or Google Play Store for Android.  As a side note, you can also use the app to pay for your car registration.

We fully understand that this is an imposition on people, and that some of you may not want to do it.  However, we ask for your 100% cooperation with this.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me by phone on 0412 902 430, or email at president@onkas.com.au

Kind regards
Stewie Fuchs
